As an Army veteran, Olajuwon (also known as Alijahe) founded PalmHaven nearly a decade ago. He draws on his technical background as an Army helicopter technician, applying this expertise and mindset to every project PalmHaven undertakes. His vision for PalmHaven is to provide quality, affordable remodeling services to families throughout the Triangle. PalmHaven specializes in kitchen and bathroom renovations, home additions, and exterior upgrades, ensuring families receive tailored solutions for their unique needs.

Starting his first business ventures in Fayetteville, NC, Olajuwon quickly expanded PalmHaven because of his innovative ideas and strong leadership. He has never shied away from taking on large projects, and the company’s success is reflected in the completion of hundreds of projects and the satisfaction of many happy customers.

Alijahe leads with hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to customer quality assurance. He also has a deep understanding of residential building methods, materials, and local building codes. As a lead craftsman, he is always willing to get involved in projects to ensure their utmost success. He welcomes customer feedback and if you ever want to see him smile big…compliment his crew! Asa Douriet, Projects and Marketing Manager

Ace, also known as Asa, joined PalmHaven with a strong drive to make an immediate impact. His expertise in media and marketing has led to a remarkable 95% increase in the company’s online traffic over the past few months. Beyond this, Ace significantly boosted PalmHaven’s Facebook followers by 120%, launched a successful video campaign that generated over 2,000 views, and improved customer engagement by increasing average post interactions by 60%. He is an incredibly talented young man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Ace has contributed to many facets of the business with a clear goal of exceeding targeted growth.

Diana Brown, Business Development and Finance Manager

Diana Brown has brought over 15 years of corporate experience in finance and business development to PalmHaven. She is a seasoned professional who has been eager to contribute to our growing business. She has shown a strong desire to positively structure our company and streamline our processes, so it is a much smoother experience for the administration, craftsman crew and our customers. Driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and ensuring the financial health and profitability of all PalmHaven projects has been in the forefront of her work with us! She is also the primary point of contact for all Human Resources matters, ensuring that both staff and crew receive timely support and guidance. She has a Six Sigma certified approach to the company’s challenges, ensuring we always put our customers first.

Diana has worked diligently to create process flows that make sense and keep us all in check in terms of financial, tax and administrative requirements. Diana works closely with the CEO, providing data-driven insights that support impactful business decisions. Her analytical mindset, commitment to continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership style set her apart as a key asset to PalmHaven. We are grateful for her continued support!

Richard, Craftsman’s Lead Manager

Richard is our Lead Craftsman and brings more than 20 years of construction and remodeling experience to PalmHaven. He is truly one of a kind, with a great work ethic and great expertise in every aspect of PalmHaven’s work. Richard approaches each project analytically, accurately estimating the materials, time, and effort required to achieve successful outcomes. His skills span woodworking, kitchen cabinet installation, bathroom remodeling, and more much with a laser focus mindset of transforming both PalmHaven’s and customers’ visions into reality. For example, Richard recently led a complex large kitchen and bathroom multi-project remodel that exceeded the client’s expectations and was completed ahead of schedule. His dedication is evident in his consistent commitment to quality assurance, which has been instrumental in delivering projects that fully satisfy our clients. Richard’s leadership as Lead Crew Manager is a tremendous asset to our team. Truly lucky to have Richard as our Lead Crew Manager!

Jacob, Craftsman Specialist

Jacob comes to PalmHaven as a hardworking crew specialist with a niche in bathroom remodeling and over 7 years of renovation and construction experience. There isn’t much when it comes to bathroom remodeling that Jacob cannot take on! He has a great mindset in helping the project succeed and has been working with Richard for a few years now, becoming a continued asset to the PalmHaven Team.

Jacob has been known to provide great suggestions to our crew on materials needed for a project and work approaches which have positively impacted our work and customer satisfaction. Mike, Craftsman Specialist

Mike is an energetic and very knowledgeable hard-working craftsman who has been in this business for over 10 years. He has come to PalmHaven on an ad-hoc basis because of his expertise in certain projects, whether is to assembly items needed for a jobsite, or whether its for a larger bathroom or kitchen project, Mike is one of our favorite gifted guys! His positive and go getter attitude is to be admired! He has dedicated a lot of time and patience to learning woodworking, kitchen cabinet installation, bathroom remodeling and much more and his high quality of work shows it too. He has quickly become a commodity for our team and we love to have him help whenever possible.

Riley, Project Designer

Riley has been a trusted partner to our PalmHaven design needs for the past year, and we have successfully collaborated with her on numerous Triangle-based projects. She is a very skilled designer that creates functional, safe, and aesthetic renovations by interpreting client needs into actionable plans, selecting materials, and overseeing construction stages accordingly. She has been a great resource in managing projects from concept to completion, producing 2D/3D layouts, specifying lighting, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and wall finishes. Her quick charm and knowledge come through immediately! She meets with our clients to define project goals, aesthetic preferences, and budget constraints and relays that information to company leadership. Our customers have been so happy to work with her and will continue to leverage Riley’s wealth of experience and vision for our remodeling projects!
